Indications of Ceftazidime for Injection:
Ceftazidime for injection can be used for treating septicemia, lower respiratory tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, infections of the biliary tract, complicated urinary tract infections, severe skin and soft tissue infections caused by gram negative bacilli-susceptible strains.

As an anti-infective agent, Ceftazidime is indicated as a more effective treatment of nosocomial infections and infections of immunodeficiency caused by gram negative bacilli–resistant strains, central nervous system infections caused by gram negative bacilli or pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Ceftazidime for Injection is indicated for the treatment of patients with bacterial septicemia caused by susceptible Gram-negative rod, lower respiratory tract infections, intra-abdominal and biliary tract infections, complicated urinary tract infections, severe skin and soft skin-structure infections, etc. It is especially used for infections in immunocompromised patients caused by Gram-negative rod, hospital infections and central nervous system infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Gram–negative rod.
