Indications of Carvedilol Tablets:
1. Carvedilol tablets are indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. It can be either given alone or given in combination with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide diuretics.
2. Carvedilol tablets are applicable for the treatment of cardiac insufficiency. As an alpha/beta-adrenergic blocking agent, Carvedilol is indicated to treat mild to moderate cardiac insufficiency (NYHA Class II or III) in combination with other agents (like digitalis, diuretics and ACE inhibitors). It is suitable for cardiac insufficiency patients who are ACE-inhibitor intolerant. And it is also suitable for the treatment of cardiac insufficiency, whether it is in combination with digitalis, hydralazine or nitric acid ester, or not.
